Flush with air
Music to live. Words to be liberated.
Every Thursday until 11 September. One evening a week when the Lavatoio becomes lighter, and music moves like a thread of air, between a dish and a story.
There are thoughts that remain suspended.
Sentences never said, hugs left in the air, emotions stuck in time - out of modesty, out of haste, out of fear.
Words that we would have liked to dedicate to someone: to those who are still here, to those who are no longer here,
to those who have passed through us, leaving a deep mark.
Flush with air is a musical review that vibrates in the present, but holds an intimate, silent and powerful space.
It is an invitation to write down those thoughts that still knock inside.
Those who have never found a voice, but deserve to be set free.
At the end of the evening, you can entrust them to our magic box,
a suspended casket ready to welcome every emotion,
placed at the entrance to the wash-house.
Because writing is a different gesture.
It has a deeper energy than a message on WhatsApp.
It is an act of love towards yourself and towards those you carry in your heart.
Write it down. Dedicate it. Let it go.
And let the music accompany each word towards its flight.
Because what you write, you transform.
And that which lets go... makes room for the new.
Summer Thursdays are not improvised,
the invisible dedication
A small ritual through the evening
Every Thursday, during the evenings of Flush with air, a light, intimate, silent ritual takes shape at the Lavatoio.
At each table we leave a small note.
A question, barely whispered:
To whom would you like to dedicate this summer evening?
Whoever wants can write, without signing.
He can give the thought to the person he is sitting with.
Or leave it in our magic mailbox,
where suspended words find space to remain.
The suspended words

THE FAKE MYTH
WHO IS 'THE FALSE MYTH' IN ONE SENTENCE?
Intimacy and maximum expression.
A journey through the great classics of Italian and English song.
Christopher Diluca (a.k.a. 'The False Myth') was born as a pianist and singer at the age of 8. He started writing songs at the age of 12 and was lucky enough to work and collaborate with many important figures on the Italian music scene. He collaborates in Red Canzian's (Pooh) solo album as a chorister and wins several singing competitions such as "percoto canta" (2016) and the "Premio Panseri" (2016), awarded by Alberto Fortis. In 2022 he participates as a guest at red Ronnie's "Barone Rosso" and presents the album made with Phil Mer (Malika Ayane, Annalisa, Sugar, Pooh, Pino Daniele...) and other excellent musicians from the Italian music scene such as Alberto Milani, Andrea lombardini and Daniel Bestonzo. Today, after a long period abroad, he continues to perform all over the country.
Iza&SaRA is a musical project composed of Elisa Babini, contralto, and Sara Valmigigli, soprano; formed in 2012, it provides a very personal take on a vast and hybrid musical genre that combines indie and pop, thus reinventing the traditional female duo in a modern key.
They have been returning to the Lavatoio for ten years. Since its inception, basically. "And we always come there with enormous enthusiasm for the super-cordial staff, the super-cosy atmosphere and the fantastic food".
But what is Amor?
"For us, Love is a word that encapsulates the spirit with which all things should be done: the lens through which we can focus on even the problems and people we like or dislike, to be able to find peace and understanding in every aspect of our lives.
A pinch of soul, a sprinkling of swing, a touch of funk... and that's Stolen Riff

Ecate Acoustic Waves is a female musical project that was born in 2024. A refined and ogirinal sound will accompany you on a journey through the greatest Italian and international pop, soft rock, blues and soul hits, revisited in an acoustic key. The line-up consists of Silvia Palazzini on vocals, Olesya Kozlova on keyboard and backing vocals and Katia Giannini on guitar and backing vocals.
wandering singer-songwriter describing the world with images in music....
Tabascomeno is a Mediterranean flower, a delicate singer-songwriter who sets her intimacy to music. The word, now barely whispered and now sung at the top of her lungs, is the true protagonist of her project: arpeggiated sounds with a melancholic touch accompany her voice, tracing the route of a journey into the sensitivity of the author, who explores and lets her own emotional fragility seep out. Her writing voluntarily eschews the self-imposed limits of genre and structure and, track after track, envelops those who stop to listen in an introspective atmosphere, on the side of the last. To tell about them, and a little about herself, Chiara makes use of references to her Calabrian origins and Greek mythology, narrating a tale in images and blending suggestions in a journey through known or impervious spaces, but no less habitable for that.
WHO IS A-MARTI IN A FRASE?
Loving you is a name that encapsulates Martina Alberi's initials and Martina's act of giving 'A' herself, through music, poetry and drawing.
The search for music as a transformation of states of mind for healing began timidly in Scotland, in Glasgow, only to find full fertility in Italy upon returning to her home town of Porto Garibaldi in 2020. The resulting dream-folk flavour led her with the song 'Pietra' to the Sferisterio in Macerata, among the 8 winners of Musicultura 2023. She also recently sang at the Fe-stival Days in Ferrara, during the evening dedicated to Cristina Donà, and at Imola in Musica.
28 AUGUST
Noub Duo
NOUB Duo: Noub (vocals), Simone Nobili (guitar/bass and backing vocals. A project that embraces different genres and musical periods, starting from Jobim's bossanova of the 1960s to the songs of Ariana Grande, Harry Stiles and Summerwalkers, passing through the classics of all time, Phil Collins above all; a repertoire performed in acoustic formation. For the third time in the 'always magical place of the Lavatoio' (cit. Noibili), we asked Simone the ritual question, to which Capossela gave the historic answer with his most beautiful song: Che cos'è l'amor? Love is music, in all its facets, love is my daughter singing with me.
Delta blues & traditionaL
What is the blues is a question that often goes unanswered. There are dozens of definitions and each one takes shape according to the analysis one wants to make of it, historical, technical, biographical. It is clear that its origins are in disenfranchised places, a hum, an ancient hypnotism that lies somewhere between magic and realism, between trivial and refined, between courtly and vulgar. Guitars and bottlenecks.... River and mud ... along a straight line from the north to the south.... Burnside, MacDowell, Waters, Johnson ,Hooker... Stories of men and women chained in search of salvation. The guitar that is no longer guitar but the din of a drum kit, uncompromising rhythm towards stories of atonement and redemption..... Between alcohol, guns and whisky
From swing and 50s/60s rock n' roll, the two singer-songwriters Darma and Reverend Dave come together in I Love Chinotto, reinterpreting even lesser-known classics for a tropical sound.
I Love Chinotto is the project of the 2 singer-songwriters Darma and Reverend Dave, who have been working together since 2015 to breathe new light into lesser-known songs from the 50s/60s tradition, from swing to Latin music, proposed with vocals and acoustic guitar, emphasising melody and harmonisation in 2 voices. An intimate but intense sound.
A concert that retraces the red thread of overseas jazz music, interweaving the joy of swing with warm blues atmospheres and engaging manouche melodies. Catchy songs with an unbridled rhythm, but also romantic and enveloping, world-famous jazz standards interpreted with style and irony on the vibrant and timeless wave of the... Swing Époque!
Who better than them to christen the season? A journey through Radiohead, Coldplay, Oasis, Verve and all of 90s BritPop.
"I play the piano and sing, but on this occasion I will only sing, accompanied by Andrea Bolognesi on the keyboard. We will perform a jazz repertoire, but augmented by Italian singer-songwriter music that we have revisited, giving it colours a little closer to jazz, a cauldron in which everything is actually thrown in, but we have chosen what we really feel is closer to jazz, the choice of certain harmonies, colours, the typical sounds of the instrument that are rare or not present in pop music, and we have revisited some Italian classics, plus a few Brazilian songs and some originals written by me'.
"I am Annalisa and I am proposing a Bossanova repertoire that I am very fond of and that originated many years ago and reminds me of my first approach to music". For Annalisa, Bossanova was the music that framed a period of her life and sends her back to beautiful memories, 'so I hope it will be a frame for those who come to spend the evening in this magical place, at the Lavatoio, where I have been returning for many years'. Why do you like it so much? "I consider this place a bit like the place of magical love that everyone dreams of and that I wish everyone to find".
17 AUGUST - The false myth
Cristofer Diluca, Il Falso Mito, piano and voice, has already been a guest at Oltreborgo, a sister venue of the Lavatoio. Il Falso Mito will play a selection of Italian and international pop from the 1970s and 1980s. Molecules of love; of that love that 'makes us wake up well and go to sleep well'.
Continuous research and a keen curiosity in music led Michele to develop technical skills on the electric bass with the intention of bringing lustre and recognition to the instrument without denaturing its 'original' sounds.
B+Positivo' is the bass and vocal duo created together with their cousin Benedetta Aluigi and their solo project.
